Irregular English Verbs List
Every language has it's quirks, things that make the language unsusual and/or hard to use. One of the 'quirks' of English is the amount of commonly used irregular verbs. Irregular verbs are defined as any verb that does not follow the normal pattern of conjugation (the inflection of the verb according to the tense).
In English, the normal pattern of conjugation is to simply ad -ed to the end of a verb. But, English uses a fair amount of irregular verbs, meaning, verbs that do not follow this pattern. Being able to correctly use irregular verbs is one of the key features of a good speaker of English and very necessary for anyone who wants to master the English language.
