Venture English Basic Course:  

Description: 

The Basic Course is designed to help students who speak very limited English to progress towards more confidence and to understand basic and proper sentence structures and develop vocabulary. Students who enroll in the Basic course will be able to use English for common activities, conversation and instructions.

Details:

The Basic Course meets 6 days a week for 1.5 hours over 3 months. The result is 75 scheduled classes and 90 hours of classroom time.

Curriculum: 

This module covers:

• Introductions
• Basic Grammar Constructions
• Tenses
• Relative clauses
• Active and Passive voice
• Direct and Indirect Speech
• Word Power and Vocabulary

We use games, conversation topics, quick speaking exercises, worksheets, drills, etc... to reinforce the material being learned. Classes are fun and our students make strong bonds of friendships that often extend outside the classroom.
